Warrens individual contributions to the 1st Gen Camaro body of knowledge remain unmatched to this day. He logged every car he saw and freely shared the info, going back to the early '80s. One of the last quandaries we noodled out was how an 08D COPO could have an original welded tab deck lid dated D11. He also had a bare COPO block; T0122MN with a VIN. Most importantly, it is a 3955270 casting, not the 3963512 casting widely believed to be the only one used. A great example of how we learn about the cars.
Unfortunately, his spirit is all but gone from the hobby. Not much sharing going on these days; what little I get often arrives with 'do not share' or a 'proprietary' agreement. Or, my request is simply ignored for no special reason. I sure miss him. |
Was talking to Warren about car at MCACN , if I recall he said all paint was original except top of driver fender and of course the hood . I asked him where the paint was blended and he said I’m not sure but my brother did the work . Then waved his brother over to explain how paint was blended . He did an excellent job !

I was lucky enough to know Warren and I think he would be happy that it is going to a Good Home. Good luck with it Charley
