I have one Pertronix kit that’s over 25 with no issues and a complete replacement that’s about 8-9 years old with no issues.

----More than one of Tim's cars has GM Transistor Ignition. Tim's Corvettes with TI would loose points with points,,,LOL! Those units, even if updated are very good. Nascar used them for years!....Bill S

Opted to purchase the Breakerless SE system. So many great features. Look forward to the install after the heat wave subsides here. Brutal!

Good call. I have them in both my Olds distributors and they've been flawless street driving or at the pure stock drags. I thought I had one crap out on me, but it was actually the trigger wire having rubbed through on the distributor housing in a spot. The only gripe is they require a high resistance coil (same as points do), and getting a quality coil in that version these days seems to be hit or miss.
