You can always fight fire with fire: www.auctionsniper.com I've used it for years as a time saver since I cant be around the computer all the time. You set your max bid and it puts it in at the last minute so that way you dont get into a bidding war with 6 days to go. Wow...here's some interesting info that I found while searching the internet on Cone Chevrolet...

First, here's some information on a famous "fast" car that came out of Cone Chevrolet

I also only enter bids at the last possible second in order to keep out of bidding wars and to minimize shill bidding against me. It is hard for some one to push a bid up when you enter it at the last second.
