65 Griffith, Ford 289 powered with Gurney heads and intake. Owner said these were built to compete with the AC Cobras at the time.

Yes in deed! There were a lot of great cars at Lombard that Dan and Rick clicked off and many more. Next Saturday night "American English" is playing at the band stand for those in the area that can make it. Weather permitting, this weeks show will bring large crowds and more cars. Some dark clouds rolled overhead but it never rained. The storm went a little north of us. We got hit hard the next morning with a microburst and 60 mile an hour winds. Lost a nice pine tree in my back yard.

Thanks. We left right after dinner, and got home just as it started to rain. It rained pretty good in Algonquin for about 20 mins.
