Scott Tiemann has the old black and white photo's. I hope to pick them up next week. The car is at Colin's and is going to a show in Milwaukee next weekend then the SCR 11, then to Chevy vettefest. It is a long and complicated story and some things need to be kept private but Colin acquired the car and I acquired it from/through/with, him and Scott. Both were instrumental in getting it from Dr. Timken otherwise it was going to auction.
Suffice it to say were it not for Colin I would never have been able to buy the car. I owe Colin a big debt of gratitude for him giving me the opportunity to buy this car. I am out of warehouse space until I sell some cars(Fords) so it is staying at Colin's for awhile. |

Lastly..it has been suggested to me that perhaps we have a "gambler's race" at the track on Friday. How this works, everyone throws X amount of $$$ into a pot, race bracket style until we have a winner, with the winner getting the $$4. It was suggested that the winner get half and charity get half. How about this?
Everyone throws $100 into the pot, "buy backs" $20.00 each, (if you lose, you can buy back in) and since we have revamped the auction some, all the proceeds go to charity. The winner would receive recognition on here, and perhaps a nice certificate/winner decal from Cumby. |

I thought I might try to make all of you feel better about towing to the Reunion given high gas prices in the US.
I just filled up my daily driver with Shell VPower premium - $8.60 per gallon. And I'm getting sub 10 mi to the gallon in the city. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...emlins/eek.gif You guys can do better than that towing on the highway at about half the price.
