Yes, and that looks like the intersection of Haight and Ashbury in San Francisco during the "summer of love." Doesn't look like "love" to me! Probably a pair of runaways from another part of the country--the Haight was full of them in 1967. If that is Ashbury going uphill in the background then the Grateful Dead's house is up there on the left. The Dead actually moved out of there to Marin County before 1967s "summer of love" because the area was getting too full of newcomers and the area's artistic bohemia that the Dead preferred was almost gone by the beginning of 1967. All those runaway Boomer kids flooded in and basically "loved" the place to death.

And now back to your regularly scheduled programming.

I used to work with a guy who spent the summer of 1966 in San Francisco. He couldn't really remember much about it, only that he REALLY had a good time! https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/cool.gif

Atlantic City boardwalk; the famous "Diving Horse" from the Steel Pier. The Capt. Starns boat would have come from the marina area along the Brigantine - Atlantic City inlet. Capt. Starns was a tourist attraction / restaurant that had sites such as seals and also had boat tours such as the one pictured.
Both attractions are long gone but, are part of Atlantic City's history.

I saw the horse when I was very little. As I recall my sister was excited since Bobby Rydell was also giving an Outdoor show that day
