1979 Monte Carlo bought new buy my mom at Ed James Chevy in Bolingbrook IL
I purchased it from her in 1982 and still have it today. I Pro streeted it in the 80's and raced it until I had kids, then the car was taken apart and left for over 20 years. pictures then and when I first put it back together. It has changed a little more over the years. |

My second car. 1970 Superbird. I was 16 when I got it in 1979. They were just 10 year old used cars back then.

LOL. I saved every penny back when I was a kid. When all my friends were buying mini-bikes in junior high school and wasting money smoking that reefer in senior high school, I was putting all my pocket change in my savings accounts (back then you get 8+% interest in a savings account!).
