Mine is a LOS also, and maybe that is why the stamping looks so different. I have looked at NOR stamped tags too, though and this just looks "sloppy", I guess. |

This NOR tag GENERAL MOTORS CORPORATION font looks just like my LOS tag.

Yeah, Richard, that lettering is far more crisp and defined than the "other" tag.
This my LOS tag, again, very crisp stamping. https://hosting.photobucket.com/albu...080&fit=bounds |
Now the grease pencil says M22?

i do have 1 question! for a while now i have a on looker here at the cars for sale & i'm curious where the prices come from...on what basis..what history. these cars are really getting out of hand...i'm not picking on this car as it is a very nice restoration. but seriously. we all know that to perform a complete restoration is expensive..my opinion & just my opinion this is out of hand..what concerns me is if someone with tons on disposable income buys these cars is damaging to the hobby..just my opinion!!!

Yeah, the M21 was a typo...danged auto-correct...;) |
Fresh paint on the corners around the rivets. May have been painting the sealer in the rivets for some reason???.....

Tag appears real although would like a better photo to comfirm. Also you cant compare a LOS to a NOR tag.

Cook, are you looking at the 04D tag? It is the Ebay car for sale.
