Re: Berger License Plate Frames

well I have invoices from berger chevrolet for parts, for my 69 camaro so if I don't find a edelbrock chevrolet frame, I would run the berger license frame, but the edelbrock one would be nice. I also have a berger chevrolet "by berger" emblem, I wouldn't mind using it for trading material towards a license frame. Anybody???

No,
He is not doing hard time, more like handing out a hard time, go to the ponysite.com and click in the upper left corner on "latest TA news". From what I hear he has caught the Shelby registry in a large scale cover up.
Thanks,
John

Tell me what I'm reading there? But having dealt with the Shelby Registry before, nothing will surprise me...

Ckick on latest Ta news in the upper left hand corner. It seems that he uncovered documents proving the alteration of the VIN on several cars, at the end of the top news piece click on the click here link that takes you to an article concerning the 67 prototype which the registry had discounted due to a letter change in the VIN, seems it was a common practice. Also, as we all know, for a manufacturer to race a particular car or engine they have to build a certain required amount for street use. It appears that Fords new hp engine that year was the Tunnel Port 302, race officials ok'd the engine but Ford never put it into production for the street, therefore the entire 1968 Mustang season was illeagal. After winning the previous two years points championship, Ford could not afford that pr blunder. They won the first race(Daytona), and never won a race again that season,(maybe one), they were all DNF, kind of like a boxer throwing a fight so not to draw attention to themselves, whoever took second at Daytona actually won. How this turns out should prove interesting
