I knew there weren't many 4spd Wildcats, but my knowledge did not amount to much more than that. I've been on V8Buick for a couple of years, and it's one of my favorites. Lots of car guys with other cars frequent it too. I'm glad I could be of service.

Buick guys are just as whacked about their stuff as the guys here are...good info from the V8Buick guys....I wish someone would turn up with my old 65 A8 Shell Beige Riviera.If I had only known how rare that car was.

so, Bob, with the trim tag jignglin around and VIN not matching the block do I still go look underneath?

oh yeah, those V8Buick guys are on their game.

Uh..no...the VIN tage is pop riveted, the trim is pop riveted, the engine is non match...all adds up to POS

I have no idea. Who's to say the stick must be on the trim tag? Probably means something else, but I am not a Buick guy.

2L designation means 4 speed on every gm tag.

It's a shame the tags are all pop riveted. This would be a neat car to drive.
