Re: The Masters...
[ QUOTE ]
wheelhop....How do you get tickets for the Masters ? I was told they are very hard to get. [/ QUOTE ] The past 5 years I have gone to Augusta for Masters week in a "work" related capacity due to my knowledge of the area (I lived there for 6 years in the 90's). I will tell you that if you want tickets bad enough they can be had...for a price. I can't say what tourney tickets go for, but this year the practice round tickets were going for around $300 and this is for a ticket with face value of $36. And no I do not have any tickets to sell, my tickets have always been part of the job package if I want to go on my off time, it would be tacky to sell gratis tickets. |
Re: The Masters...
I'm sure that Charley would gladly accept them for free. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ns/naughty.gif

Re: The Masters...
I've been offered $5000 per badge for mine... long before the tourney ever started... by ticket brokers...
If you get caught selling them you never get them again... We were on the waiting list for 18 years... 1972... got them in 1990... |
Re: The Masters...
That is what I was told..Years on a waiting list and if you get caught reselling them you lose them.
|
Re: The Masters...
the waiting list has been closed since 1973 or 1974...

Re: The Masters...
We got them through a lady who's been "brokering" tickets for the masters for the last 30 years. She has relationships with past champions, members, etc. .
She has a lot of corporate clients who she sets up for the week in luxury houses in the area. I think she pays approximately 3 to 4K per badge for the week. |
Re: The Masters...
I could certainly put you in touch with her for next year if you like.
