Very nice. Is it common to have the dist. hold down painted orange on an aluminum intake?

Brent:
Just curious: what all did you have to do to the car to make it look that good? Any rust repair or paint work? |
Re: Brents 1969 L78 Original California Camaro
Awesome car Brent. It looks to be in much better condition than I had imagined from the description in the original thread over at TC. Very nice!

Brent, nothing I could say now I didn't say in person.
Car is fantastic! Loved seeing it as SLS. Congrats buddy... glad that starter worked too Dan |
Re: Brents 1969 L78 Original California Camaro
Thanks to all for the kind words .The paint on the car has its patina to it dings and dents but it doest bother me some would paint it. To me it would be another restored camaro so iam leaving it alone.
The car is CRAZY solid only rust repair was in the trunk bottom but very little from the trunk matt .All i did was power wash the HELL out of the underside and clean the carpet and inside.I did touch the paint here and there and lace the hood http://i411.photobucket.com/albums/p...131424_364.jpg |

Re: Brents 1969 L78 Original California Camaro
I love RG... that car is a freaking TREASURE!!!!
Never seen that on a Norwood car.Maybe it's a VN thing... BTW Brent did you see how well the original deluxe Comfort Weave interior cleaned up in the 69 Conv I am doing now? You may want to do something similar to your comfort weave seats. BTW I lace D90 stripes would be killer... |
Re: Brents 1969 L78 Original California Camaro
Awesome car ! Congrats !! love the orig. detail pics...keep them coming!! Surprised how much green on the floor boards and tunnel, etc. I know there are many variations, but is that typical? Is that masking tape under the sill?
How about some acion shots??? |
