Steve, is a car judged differently and are points taken off if there is grease, road grime, and what-have-you on the bottom side or are they just judged on originality?

Preservation points deduction may be applied only, unless there is such deterioration of an area that changed it form, function or identification such as stamping or casting #'s then Originality points deduction may apply.

We judge both Originality (90% of score) and Preservation (10% of score).

I post this info as general scoring and not specific to any cars we have Vintage Certified.

Thanks for posting these up Steve. Often in the mad rush of MCACN, do I find the time to study these cars in this type of detail.

Please clarify what year the 67 or 70. I will be uploading a few more cars. Each pic requires resizing, sometimes cropping and adjusting brightness because lighting before the event start is at 50-75% per convention requirements. Each car can take 4-6 hours to put up.

This is one of those cars that has an amazing history both on the drag strip and show circuit achieving many awards. The present condition given the 89k miles is astounding and a credit to all the caretakers over the years. This car has it all styling, performance and preservation.
