What carbs are you going to run? I run Holley 4776's on my Edelbrock STR10. That's what the original directions said to run. After dialing it in it runs pretty good. Not a quick dial in process though.

That's gonna be fun to run. I'm just waiting on a new stroker build to come back from my builder next week and then I'm mounting this one up. It's an Offy that was cleaned up, debadged and had the wells deepended to accept the throttle shafts & cams of the 4295 carbs w/o needing spacers between the intake and carbs. My friend Mike has converted a number of these over the years to function like the factory intakes do.

That is an awesome looking set up, I am going to run Holley 450 carbs. I already have them so that is why I picked them. I was going to use them on a different set up, but now that this has come up I think it will work out good.

Those will work good on the LT1 Dan.
Any plans to swap in a different cam or just the addition of the crossram? Also...how is the hood coming along and did you decide on silver with the black stripes? |
I am going to leave the factory cam in it. The hood is primed and ready for paint. Hopefully next week, I am going to have it painted silver with the matching black stripe (hopefully matching).

Great pics & info on the intake/carb set ups on this thread!
Here is one I picked up last year- looking forward to a small block build and try this out. it came with the instruction sheet on how to jet carb etc so should be fun. Previous owner did some work inside with popsicle sticks and epoxy, so should be interesting... |
