Lynn, Holly and I took a quick cruise over to Pavilions on Saturday. We saw Shaun, Paul and Sizzler Wayne...a lot of the others were either at Mecum, Goodguys or one of the many spring training games on Saturday!.

Wonderful weather yesterday...but before long it will be getting hot!

Enjoy the cell phone pics....

One of the club rows has a bunch of old T-Birds...and apparently a Corvette that thought it was a T-Bird...LOL

Always enjoy your coverage - thank you.

Ugh, more t-birds, LOL. I likely painted a few of those.

We rolled in there about 4:30. Stayed to about 9pm and watched while the cops were trying to get everyone to leave as they said the cruise was closed for the night, that was a new one. Haven't seen that before. Things were getting a little rowdy with the kids. I remember hanging out there till 11pm.

thanks for taking these and posting. Never get tired of this stuff.

Larry, sorry we missed you. We left about 4:15PM.

I have heard that they shut down the cruise earlier now. I am never there late, so I haven't experienced it!

No big deal, we'll be down there again soon.

We are generally there late because the later I wait, the less traffic I have to deal with climbing back up the mountain, lol.

They started announcing they wanted everyone to leave at 7:45 pm. I looked at the time and I was like whaaaa???? :dunno: I was shocked. I barely finished dinner. By 8pm they had reservation cops driving up and down the isles on their loud speakers telling everyone to leave and threatening to tow, yet there were still cars showing up and parking. By 9pm it was still fairly crowded in the lot but what caught my attention was on Indian Bend. Both sides of the street were lined with kids on the curb with their cell phones out taking pictures enticing the youngsters to do burnouts as they left. More cops showed up and parked out there with their lights flashing trying to discourage it. Looked like things were getting a bit sketchy so that's when I decided to go out the back way through the baseball fields, lol.

First time I've ever seen any of this going on. I was just there at the BJ cruise late and there wasn't any of this.

Anyway, thought you'd be interested. Carry on with the pics, even after being there I still enjoy what you post :beers:

Hey, just as a heads up. You guys could use our house as a jumping off point and a place to relax afterwards if you'd like. We're on your way home if you go up through Wickenburg. :beers:

x33rs 03-19-2019 01:16 AM

I really appreciate that Bruce. I'll keep that in mind. We do go back and forth that way quite a bit up through Wickenburg and Yarnell.

Billohio 03-19-2019 01:17 AM

I am pretty sure the cops were looking for the 69 GTO with the big motor. I have a feeling they were waiting for him to burn the tires off out front!!

Dad was asking about that so I think he's game.

Let me know a good time and we can certainly do that!

Thanks for the pics, always appreciate you sharing them.
I love those baby birds; they're one of the cars that, IMHO, look the absolute best in all stock iteration. Ford nailed it on those I think.
