Pics of my 10 10 Z/28

Given the prices of some of the 69 Z/28's lately, I decided to up the coverage. Tami at MK said that wasn't a problem, but underwriting wanted some contemporaneous photos.
So, got it out yesterday. First order of business was the photos. Then a trip to the local airport to fill it up with 100LL. Every time I drive it I can't believe how much fun it is. I still have the original 302 with manifolds, smog, etc. But the current engine (LT-1 spec, still standard bore) just runs like stink through the old S&S headers (out of business now.... but a true tuned header). 4.10 screw and M20 is a GREAT combo for a small block. Still breaks the tires loose in all four gears, even with traction bars and 255s on the rear. If you ever get a chance to put 100LL in an old muscle car, you won't believe how much it wakes it up. Thought I would share the pics. Yes, the passenger side floor mat is dirty. Sue me. |
Awesome car Lynn and the way it's setup you can drive it like you stole it!! Enjoy....
Tami at M&K our insurance sponsor is amazing to deal with and always beats the competition prices. |

I have had the car since 1976. My brother bought it in 75. He was just 15 and in way over his head. I traded him for my 70 Opel Kadette Rallye.
