Thoughts on 1111499 Distributor Stamp

This looks to be nicely restored.. Any experts that can tell if this real or a restamp or not? Thanks in advance!

Hi, I am confident in calling that 1111499 stamp fake.
Sorry, Anthony |
Anthony is right
|
Yup.
|
Thank you all! Good thing I didn't pay much but was hoping it was real of course...
|
Measuring across the diameter of the distributor in the area of the stamping, you should read between 3.819 to 3.813 inches.
|
Clearly NOT an original stamp.
|
Wow....more than one red flag there.

Thanks again everyone! Now I'm wondering if this one is actually a re-stamp. Bought it 20 years ago on Ebay and have listed here for sale.. I'm trying to learn here..:youguysrock:

When the turning lines are missing that usually means someone made them go away. Usually to re stamp it.

What would one expect to pay for a genuine 1111499 distributor?
