Picked up this X66 Super Sport gem over the weekend. Car had no options other than L78, M21, and BV 4.10 posi rear. Standard no console 711 interior with 67 Burgundy paint. Original engine is long gone but still has numbers matching transmission and born with rear end.

I'll add, looks to have been coming down the line the same time as ZL1 & 2? |

The X66 doesn't follow the same rules as a X77. As a SS it has the chrome in front of the rear wheels, chrome on the h/l rings & chrome on the tail lights. What the X66 didn't have was rain gutter chrome & wheel lip chrome. It follows the same as a X55.....Joe

Now that is cool. Nearly same serial number as my 69 RS Z/28 (569xxx) and identical assembly date on the rear. How cool is that?
Yes Bentley, just as #1 and #2 ZL1's were being done. Sounds like all 4 of these cars were together, or very close. Same building same day?? |
NICE... I love 4.10 solid lifter cars...
Burgundy will make a nice one! Would it get a Monza red stripe D90 or white? |
Cool find Matt!
