I have a picture of a customer's yellow Baldwin vette in my shop in 1969. Don't know what it is exactly. Had an overdrive.

Anybody wanting a copy, send me a PM. Don't know how to post pics on the site.

Well, maybe I will try with this posting. If it ain't there, you'll know I still don't know how.

If that car was a pearl yellow it could be the car I saw at Motion Performance as a young car nut in 1969-70.
Please post any, and all, pictures that you have.

If you go to the COPO Canada page you will find directions to a site that has a bunch of old photos, although we never really took as many pcitures as we should have back then.

If it's the car I saw in person as a kid it is not the same car. The pearl yellow GT I saw did not have the Shelby scoop on the sides and did not have the LT-1 style stripe on the hood.
I have inquired about this peral yellow car before since it left such a lasting impression on me as a 8 year old car buff.
I hope it's still around somewhere as it would be a shame to find that it had been wrecked or something.

C'mon, guys, this is clearly not the same car. I tapped my old shop foreman today and he says it was a Baldwin Motion Stage 3, bought new by our customer. He remembers the overdrive, same as I do.

I believe this may be a pic of the motor out of the yalla BM vette. Another pic shows the flex plate and I remember my guys pulling the motor for me to freshen, and I can't think of why we would have another aluminum lump w/flex plate lying around.
