Consiering he is a "serious adult" he does not have those "serious adult" communication skills.
Did they even make a Yenko like this? Could this be one of those send money types and I promise to send you this original Yenko car??

Re: A $13,000 Yenko????

The seller also had a "very rare" 73 GTO for sale, which sold for $9500. The buyer's history shows that they have only bought 2 items, the GTO and this little number...

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...&viewitem=

What is really strange is that the feedback that the seller gives to the buyer of the GTO. He says "Thanks Tom".

http://feedback.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/e...tab=AllFeedback

Is Tom happy with the fit of the dress? Does he drive the GTO while wearing it? Could this "Tom" be a member here?

Pete,
I am probably wrong about the buyer being a member of this site. He would have to be named "Tom", he would have to have a real interest in Novas, have a woman's name as part of his username, and look good in a formal red bridesmaid's gown. No one really comes to mind.

Now an $11,500 Yenko Replica.

I do feel bad for the buyer which is now the new seller.

Situations like what happened really suck!

I keep things simple by asking for a name, phone number and address before we do business. Sure weeds out the con artists in a hurry.

Wow, If I were the buyer, I would blast him with negative feedback and he would be hearing from my lawyer for misrepresentation.

Re: A $13,000 Yenko????

It's almost hard to feel sorry for the fellow that bought this car. It really does bring meaning to the term that "It's very easy to part a fool from his money." If being a 1971 model doesn't throw up red flags, then I don't know what does. You stick with what you know....that's an easy rule of thumb. We all laughed at this car a couple weeks ago about it's absurdness, but I'll damned if he didn't find an easy prey that forked over his money. I like Shelby's, but I don't know anything about them so I'd avoid them before making an irrational purchase. A $13,000 Yenko......riiiiggghhhttt.
