Rare as Hen's teeth?
|
Re: Rare as Hen's teeth?
very rare, however, that car has been for sale for years and discussed on many web sites. Just because its rare, doesn't mean its worth 45K for a rusted wreck! Just my opinion.

Re: Rare as Hen's teeth?
"white strobe stripes" THat would be cool. NOt sure I can picture strobe stripes on a Fury.

Re: Rare as Hen's teeth?
Reminds me of that '73 Plymouth Fury with the rabbits in the trunk used in the movie "Thunderbolt & Lightfoot.
........classic. |

Re: Rare as Hen's teeth?
Don't care how rare it is, who wants it?

Re: Rare as Hen's teeth?
I used to think I wanted one of these GT's, older/wiser now?
Here's another rare Mopar project I saw recently but don't need. http://ontario.kijiji.ca/c-cars-vehicles...QAdIdZ371693209 My pal and I pulled a decent '69 GTX 440 ragtop home about 25 years ago, motor gone but 4-Spd. and Dana still w/ it and all for a whopping $50! Sadly he passed away a few years later and his family dealt w/ his stuff so don't know where it ended up? I knew of another '69 GTX ragtop back then too, good chance it was this one advertised now as it was the same town? ~ Pete |
Re: Rare as Hen's teeth?
I remember seeing that Fury sitting in a junk yard back in the early 90's when I lived in the Seattle area.... I thought it was rather unique at the time.

How can a Six-bbl. Sport Fury GT not be desirable? |
Re: Rare as Hen's teeth?
I think it's desirable, just to a considerably smaller segment of the general car enthusiast population than, say, a Cuda with the same drivetrain. Who's a buyer on a car like this?

</div></div>Mopar guy with deep pockets. </div></div> I don't know, I've known a lot of Mopar guys, but never one with big dreams of Sport Furys. I think he's looking for a C-body guy with deep pockets, but wherever that elusive gent is, surely by now he's aware these cars. Dan's been trying to move these things for a while now with no takers. Whatever, it's an interesting car and I hope it goes to a good home eventually. |
Re: Rare as Hen's teeth?
I agree that it's a very interesting car.And I hope it gets restored.Hope we get to see it when it's done.
