Re: Here we go again.......L89 Nova....
Aren't there three or four "only L89 Nova known to exist" Novas out there now?
|
Re: Here we go again.......L89 Nova....
Yep!!.....But the Black one is special......It has the "Tan" L89 only distributer cap and the optional 074 open chamber aluminum heads with 9.5 to 1 compression to run todays lousy gas....LOL

Re: Here we go again.......L89 Nova....
Good luck with that one!

"But my uncle’s friend’s cousin bought it new, and he was a highly respected phrenologist, so I know he knew what he was buying and was telling the truth about it."

Re: Here we go again.......L89 Nova....
Things have been too quiet here for a long time...we need a little mid-winter ice breaking..or ball-breaking..depending on your point of view
For what it's worth...all of my Novas have aluminum heads, so I don't think they are anything special wilma |
Re: Here we go again.......L89 Nova....
I thought those were spares you were buying.

Re: Here we go again.......L89 Nova....
Here is another one that was a E Bay some time ago. Seller ended the auction early.

Re: Here we go again.......L89 Nova....
I guess I left a lot of dough on the table when I sold the Gold Car.......Stupid me for being Honest!!!......LOL
|
Re: Here we go again.......L89 Nova....
You have no idea how much I wanted to post about the gold car. It was so much closer to being real just because of the details that were done right on the car and the early build date that was closer to the documented real L89 motors that are known. This black car has detail issues beyond the heads that are wrong for the build date of the car.

Re: Here we go again.......L89 Nova....
The Black car was put in for Judging at the Nova Nationals back around 2008 or 09.......Not mentioning any names......but.....the owner was told by the Judge it would be better to withdraw the car from Judging rather than embarass himself...........It was pulled from Judging......
