I never heard who held the winning ticket to the MCACN Rallye 350 raffle. Anyone here the winner?

I heard it was a 65 year old retired school teacher who was very excited! Tickets for the car were sold out before the event opened on Saturday!

Indeed, the winner was Marilyn T. from LaGrange, Ohio. Marilyn purchased her ticket from Jeff Stolowski, founder of the Great American Muscle Car Giveaway at the Oldsmobile Nationals in Lansing, Michigan over the summer.

Marilyn is indeed a retired school teacher, and is an avid Olds enthusiast. She and her husband own a 1961 Olds and a 1972 Cutlass convertible. She is over the moon with excitement and there could not be a better winner.

Now...on to 2014; we hope everyone saw the beautifully restored 1970 Olds Pace Car replica that was unveiled at MCACN that was on the turntable. This is our Great American Giveaway 2014 raffle car, again donated by Jeff and JoHanna Stolowski. Our 2014 Charity of choice is Rescue 1 Fire Safety for Kids and the Shriners Burn Prevention Program, both VERY worthy children's charities. the winner will be announced at MCACN Saturday, November 22.

I PM'd Bob Ashton to get the ball rolling for 2014. I hear the &quot;Giveaway&quot;is a &quot;Pace Car replica&quot;. I have to ask (almost sad to say, but I think we all know why) is this a replica as in a &quot;Pace Car&quot; that was a dealer inventory car, a &quot;Festival Parade&quot; car, or a Cutlass Convertible restored to appear as a pace car? I think (hope) I know the answer, but considering the scuttlebutt from the Oldsmobile display, I figured it would be a viable question. I am not trying to be an A$$ or anything of the sort, actually I am disappointed in what happened. Please understand that the term &quot;replica&quot; might confuse some----these cars were referred to as &quot;Pace Car Replicas&quot; when they were sold brand new, as they did not actually pace the Indy 500. Well, Jeff's did anyway.

The 2014 raffle car is one of the 624 Y74 option Olds Pace car replica's as sold by Oldsmobile in 1970. It is a documented real-deal car.

Jeff Stolowski, the founder of The Great American Muscle Car Giveaway, is the owner of the <span style="font-style: italic">real </span>1970 Olds Pace Car, as seen at MCACN and featured on the cover and inside of several issues of Hemmings Muscle Machines magazine. The story of how Jeff ended up as the owner of this very significant car is what dreams are made of. This is great news! As both an Oldsmobile AND an Indy 500 fan (went 25 consecutive years and still subscribe for tickets) I will wait with anticipation to see the completed restoration of the GRAND PRIZE. I applaud Jeff and his wife for implimenting the Giveaway Program and for their generosity.

I bought tickets for the 1970 Olds Pace Car at the show. I love the Olds Pace Cars....it will be mine in one year.
