Traction Bar Hardware

Hi guys. I have a line on a set of traction bars here in Oz. Can someone tell me if hardware is available to buy? It is basically just the bars themselves with out the hardware.
Thanks in advance.

You would have to have a make on those traction bars so that someone could tell you the specifics, or atleast pictures so they have an idea. A lot of awsome guys and girls on here all willing to help.

Here are a couple of pics.
Looks like one is missing an ear. Could they be MrGasket's? Any help appreciated.

They should work for GM cars. Looks to be enough shock mounts for the camaro's nova's and firebird's. You may have the rest of your hardware already on your car. These bars don't look like they need the "J" bolts or the big "U" bolts for the bottom.

Thanks Sam. They came of a '68 Camaro so I figured they should work for a Nova as well.

can't see why not. Make sure they have the eyelits where the shock mounts. When you restore them lay them out first so the Traction Action decal is facing on the outside where you want it.

Those are Mr. Gasket bars I think. Probably find some orange paint under there.

Thanks for the info guys. I will get them in a week or so and plan on restoring them for a rainy day.
Would like to do a day 2 style car at some point so I am collecting some period correct stuff as it comes available.
Thanks again.

Re: Traction Bar Hardware

Picked up my bars today. Pretty happy with the overall condition, basically complete and not bent which is always a plus.
They cost me only $50, and its probably the best $50 I've spent in a while! Had a look under the black paint and they look to be more red than orange but who knows. Anyways, I'll have them sandblasted and I will give them a bit of a resto and stick them on the shelf, ready for duty.

Both, Street Side & SUMMIT have the Correct Hdwre for your 1 1/2" Bars. They have the U bolts, J bolt Kits & snubbers in LAKEWOOD Parts. Those are most likely MR. GASKET Bars from the Red Paint.....They are just Street Bars
