Some guys would simply flat clear over that "paint" to save the patina.

Re: '69 SS396 EL CO
As bad as that is, even here in Ontario Canada, you guys are really missing the BIG POINT!!!!
HE'S ASKING $4,500.00 FOR THAT RUSTED HULK??????? I could see $1,200.00-$1,500.00 for it, but no more then that. |
Re: '69 SS396 EL CO

T-400 or Muncie would be some bucks... any other salvagable small pickings, I see front bumper guards..looks like remote mirror... possibly worth some $$$... If it was an L-78, someone would probably fix it !! still a real shame and was a nice truck back in the day !!! |

Sheet metal delete, too. Do I see a 6K redline tach in the dash? |
Re: '69 SS396 EL CO
If Canadian cars Did NOT have docs.....I don't think there would be many buyers due to the harsh winters and RUST

Re: '69 SS396 EL CO
Hell if it had the original lug nuts someone would buy it for them alone! last NOS set was $1000.

Re: '69 SS396 EL CO
Would make a great parts truck for someone if they had an SS project or wanted to convert a Malibu with some SS goodies.
