Actually I think those broken ears occur more often from someone trying to "pull" the trans into position with the mounting bolts when the new clutch disc isn't aligned properly. [img]<<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/eek.gif[/img]
So technically it is the torque, but from some gorilla trying to torque it into place. |

When my clutch exploded in my Old 71 442 hardtop I had as a kid......... I wish I still had that car. |
