Old Aftermarket floor mats

These came in a '69 Camaro parts car. They struck me as kind of cool in a J.C. Whitney sort of way. They have instructions on the back to trim to fit Camaros, etc. Any idea who sold them ? Anybody have any ? I'd love to find a pair for the front.

Pretty cool.

I want to see what a 69 Camaro parts car looks like.

Funny Jason. I think we've all parted out cars years ago that today would definitely be saved.

Thanks Mark, I should have just asked you. lol. I'll keep an eye out for those. They had to have come from either J.C. Whitney or J.C. Penney's.

Jason - Thats what I thought until I ran into this one. I tried to figure out a way to save it, but there was nothing left of this shell, I do mean nothing. It collapsed being moved on flat ground because the bottom foot is non existant. Other than small parts I salvaged a dash, roof - rear deck and a trans tunnel. Heck, even the inner 1/4s were gone 12" up. On the bright side, it was an untouched reference car built 3 weeks before my stripped out Z28 S/S car and is providing it's all to bring that one back to life. For being as bad as it was, the important stuff I needed was in surprisingly good shape.

Woo doggy! I'm kinda surprised the floor mats didn't rust. Thanks for posting the pics. At least it helped save another.

This poor car... It was driven on the salty winter streets of Omaha until the gas tank fell out of it, then it sat in deep weeds in a back yard for more years. The 307 had anti foulers in all 8 holes and every lobe on the cam was flat, including the fuel pump. The lifters looked like bird baths. It was actually amazing that it took losing the tank to finally kill it.

I find it amazing that left to it's own devices without man's intervention, that the earth and nature will reclaim what was originally it's own.
