If that is the VIN the list indicates that car (Hurst built?) came from L.R. Cooke in Lexington, KY. Should be code 28, Fathom Blue with M-21 tranny ... TAZ |
Re: looking for 1970 yenko nova parts
That's the vin... That's the color and that's the trans.. What else can I be told about the car if I post the body tag numbers ? Thanks

Marlin is here somewhere.

Re: looking for 1970 yenko nova parts
Yea the story was they went in partners because one of them didn't have the 1800 to buy it alone so they went together and bought it one guy took the engine the other kept the car

Re: looking for 1970 yenko nova parts
Ousley is a native name from Eastern ky. Martin is 2 counties West of Ousley county. Martin is in Floyd county. That is not a highly populated area and running down family should be easy. Shawn, where are you located? Ky. Also has available records. If that engine is in ky. It may not be too hard to run down? Good luck and great score.

Re: looking for 1970 yenko nova parts
Sorry, was off racing Jr Dragster in Maryland!
Numbers are good, we've had this car in the Registry for 10+ years. Car was in South Carolina - what happened to Barry Stumbo? |
Re: looking for 1970 yenko nova parts

I confirmed the car with the Body Sequence Number, and didn't get the VIN until much later.
