So here is a question, if buying a vehicle from a private party out of state how do you typically manage the transaction? Obviously I would have to pay for the vehicle before I got the title but how do you minimize risk ? I have checked out the seller on the line and he seems to be legitimate but just want to be cautious

Road runner transport has done good for me.
Have the seller overnight the title to you. Rich |
If you are really concerned about the seller you can contact an attorney in his area and have him do the transaction for you in his office. You can wire him the funds which he will give the seller as the seller gives him the title.

Don't use a broker - deal directly with someone who hauls. Quote:
Safest & cheapest way to pay is by bank wire transfer. Seller then sends you executed title overnight. Jim |
Thanks!

Awesome! Glad it worked out! Let's see a pic of your rig! Love those trucks.

the Red 83 I bought in Carlisle, southern truck, 68k, crate small block, 2wd. Runs the balls.
The K10 is from GA, also has crate motor in it, no rust at all, ten footer on the paint. Love these and they are coming up quick |
I love the " square" trucks. Have my eye on a lifted one!!

Keeping them both....(really said my wife.....) Probably keep the blue one stock and as is, looks its age which is fine, like the "driven" look and going to build up the small block in the red one. Probably better investments than the stock market..... |
