The Blue corvettes story just doesn't jive with me.
He had enough $ to opt for a ZR-1,but not enough $ for the insurance afterwards? Plus, who doesn't forsee the insurance being costly when you're young, single & looking to buy a corvette? |
Thanks guys its deff a cool car, I'm not going to have time to touch it for a while so if I get a invite to MCACN it might be there

----Somethings a bit off. They didn't make LS6 Corvettes in 1972! 71 only.......Bill S

1970-72 ZR1 = LT1 350 1971 ZR2 = LS6 454 The "hottest" 1972 'Vette was probably a ZR1, it's a track special after all. But I can't see it costing more in insurance than a big-block. You go into your insurance person in 1972 and say "454" you got a hefty monthly bill as opposed to saying "350". Strange sales advice. And Mr.70 you have a point - he saved $500 by not getting the ZR1 option (which he had planned to do anyway). Why not use the savings toward insurance? |
