How "cool" is this? Thanks for the pics! Long time no talk to...Fred :)
Fred...you should share on the Shelby Facebook page!
Hey Bruce
For a Canuck it wasn't super cold.....the Californians had rigormortis set in Sadly no facebook, no Instagram, never tweeted.....prefer twats :) Ciao, Fred |
Still cool as hell...I can post em for you...and give you photo credit! Where was this at...or what event?:cool2:
Hate to disagree Bruce, but from a NE Ohio guy nothing about that is cool, YUK !
Fred you are still a idiot. Those would be real Cobras folks. They do this stuff every year.
Yikes! Those cars can NOT be fun to drive on snow and ice!

HAHA this pure insanity .. but a blast i bet
Certainly are a few with a loose screw somewhere ... I wonder how many have "sunny day" insurance only? ... TAZ
WOW, I thought they all had to be replicas; driving one of the real ones in that kind of weather seems insane to me considering their value.
19 small blocks
7 big blocks 24 of the 26 cars had gals in them.....very understanding gals....two of them were doing some of the wheeling Great people, great cars, great roads....not so great conditions a local documented his account of what he saw in this thread, some funny reading https://www.24hourcampfire.com/ubbth...ics/12273390/1 |
Snow Flakes
That's why they make Booze!
Wow, that is brave or foolish or both but quite the spectacle.
Awesome pics! I've been out in mine during the winter before any salt has been put down for a winter blues ride.
These are like those photos from "back in the day" when these cars were driven because they are, well... cars, and we all gape in awe that they are being driven and not under a show's roof being "Ooo'ed" and "Aaahh'ed" over. Neat to see a real life "back in the day" picture! Might choose a little better weather next time, but still..... awesome!!!:3gears:
Cheers:beers: Dave |
Now that is dedication and commitment!
Wow !!! posers need not apply !

Side Note:
My parents bought a 1967 Austin Healey brand new, and of course drove it all year in Ontario Canada. They tell a classic story of picking up a Christmas tree in it. In the pictures you can see that the car has 1967 plates in the winter photo, and 1968 plates in the summer photo. (1969 plates are dark blue) Ryan |
That was me in 1973 in a 1959 TR3 not real good in the snow, anyway I got some pictures of the Cobra in East Helena Montana now if some one can tell me how to post them I will thanks. Leny Mason
