Amazing Day-2 '70 Camaro Build

I first started following the build on Instagram. The car is perfect. Wonderful blend of day-2 and some personal taste touches. There are a few frame-off show cars going day-2 today, even fewer that aren't profiled on this forum, and even fewer that aren't Hi-Perf, higher margin builds. This maybe the best one built in recent time, outside of Grady's COPO.

Enjoy,
Dan

They did a great job of hiding the AC. Neat car!

Maybe the 70s will be the new 50s.
Nice build, very cool car.

The underhood Black paint can be achieved with PPG Delfleet Essential Black (follow their Bulletin for semi gloss)

That is so badass i'm speechless, I'm kind of trying the same thing............................. it has EFI though but doing my best to sprinkle in some Day2. Also thinking of painting my caltracs Lakewood yellow or Ansen orange. I have bias ply tires for the front on original 5 spokes for shows also. It will have factory interior minus the rollcage.

Any tips guys, ideas.................

Either go all Day 2 or all modern. Don't mix the two. Based upon your engine go all modern. Please don't make your car one of those cars that has no idea what it is or era it belongs and have people shaking their head.

Just my opinion. Build what you want of course but I don't see the point of adding vintage day 2 parts to a car that is very modern and hi-tek.

Agree -- build it the way you want it ... it's yours ... so who cares what someone else wants to call "it" ... TAZ

I get it don't go overboard but what's good is I can always change it around.

I have 3 style that I can change over a weekend

Stock wheels with polys
What's on car now
Modified stock wheels with slicks and bias ply up front like above day2 car.

Next build will be pure day2

I really appreciate you guys on what you do with these cars and my next build will have a few questions to get it right.
