1969 Oldsmobile W-31 "El Malo"
 

As some of you already know.....I am very excited and humble to be restoring "El Malo" for Bob and Frank D'Antonio.

The project is currently underway....stay tuned for more pics. "El Malo" is a very Historic Olds Drag Car. We are currently preserving the paint, glass and interior and restoring the chassis, suspension and the rear end.

I am in need of a 1969 dated "TO" 3.91 Olds 12 bolt housing.

Sounds like a SBO build, there are many options.... but the exhaust Manifolds are trouble... Drag car so you can use headers?

Very cool preservation/restoration. Love the rear suspension mods from BITD.

The uppers have been relocated to adjust pinion angle and Lakewood upper arms have been added to take out play and reinforce the upper arms.
They also modified the pinion snubber.
I have know Idea what the bar is for on the left upper corner is for?

NHRA was quite lenient with suspension mods during the jr stock years.
