Love those cars! Demons too.

I'm with Rick; really like the Dusters and Demons. Really underrated muscle cars. I imagine a built 340 or 440 would make those fly. Nice car.

I recently posted photos of my LeManns Blue 69 SS427 Chevelle on this site. The only car locally to me at the time that I could not beat was my buddies bone stock 70 340 4-speed Duster. Unbelievable how fast that car was for the day. I gained a whole new respect for those cars about that same time.

I love that car, we spoke at least once on FB. I had to let my 71 Demon 340 4 speed 3.91 car go a couple of years ago to fund another car but sorry I did.

This Duster is all original from the factory except the paint. The chrome, vinyl top, bumpers, interior, wheels(never painted) are from 1971.
The car is nicely optioned with the factory drive train 340, 4-speed and 3:55 rear gears. The engine has been rebuilt and is pushing 375 HP approx. This car has the most ALL original trunk that I have ever seen. The original spare tire has never been used. I recently bought a 1969 Nova SS that I saw on this site that is all original including the paint and the Nova Ss is actually nicer then this car! |
Good looking Mopar. I like the Duster/Demons and a 4 speed is a bonus. Color looks real nice too. Congrats!

Little known fact that is often overlooked is that EVERY 340 CID was a performance engine. It's not like you could get one in a pickup truck or station wagon. Cool cars!

Me like....especially that Green :)

As per your request .....
The Engine color is correct for this car as it was a late built 1971 340. This car is incredibly quick and a blast to drive! |

Radiator is a replacement and your alternator should be single pulley. This is my old car while not perfect it will show you some things you still need to correct Please under stand not knocking you just providing help. Ron |
Yep I saw the intake too and shock washers but figured I'd wait to see if you were receptive first. Usually such a stock looking car wouldn't have so much touched underhood.

Great looking car. Theses cars were my first love. My Dad had a 71 Duster 340/4spd 3.91 car when he was in HS. I can sit there for hours listening to him telling me how he used to out run people. He always said it was a great redlight to redlight car. He always waits till the end to talk about the one time he ran up on a 70 Chevelle LS6 auto/4.10 car. He says he would jump the LS6 about a car length out of the hole , But when the LS6 would grab ahold it would jump past him about a car length before the the next redlight.

I had a red 340 69 dart that was stock I remember when we beat a 70 429 super cobra jet torino in a heads up race
|
I have been searching for a 71 Demon 340 4 psd. Very hard to find!
Love these Dusters and Demons. |
Indeed they are and can also be quite pricey. Tough to beat that body style!
