----I just installed the GR70s on my 69 Grand Prix. I haven't driven it yet, but I like the look and I really want to put the car on the road for the summer in good weather. I have to change my MO and put some miles on this stuff.......Bill S

I am now handling all of Coker's products as well. Contact me for pricing. My cell is 816-654-3400.

Rusty....Maybe you could look into why Coker isn't producing the G-70-15 and many of the other sizes of the Firestone Wide Oval Radials. They've had those sizes on their site for well over a year, but they still say they're not available. They keep moving the rollout date up two weeks at a time....Very frustrating....

I am feeling your pain.... I have a customer who has paid for (5) GR70-15 redstripes... They are telling me the end of March/ beginning of April... This has been pushed for couples of months for me as well....

G70x15 Redline tires were originally only used on 3 cars: 1969 A12 Road Runner & Super Bee and the 1969 SS 427 Impala.

Can anyone comment on how these Wide Oval radial tires balanced? I heard from someone that their set took a LOT of weight compared to BFG T/A tires on the same wheels. Anyone else hear of issues?

I have a set of RF70-14 red lines mounted on original 14x6 rally's. The best wheel was 3oz. and the worst was 6oz.

Not from my personal experience, but I did read on some Camaro website where another member posted that his new wide oval radials took less weight than the same size bias plies.

----My G's didn't take much weight......Bill S

I won,t get these tires mounted and balanced till April as Northern Ohio weather won.t

I have the Firestone Wide Oval Radials on my Nova and they ride just like any high quality radial tires. They also balanced with no huge amount of weights. I've had the car at highway speeds a number of times with no issues with vibrations etc...

Bill Rose 04-11-2018 01:40 AM

I finally got the G-70-15's RWL radials I've been wanting for a year. I called Coker, and they told me they were making them but were out of stock. Then they came 2 days later. I guess they had a shipment come in.
