When your buddy let's you borrow a set of vintage Cragars with tires, and you convince him to "light them up" using your car (after all they are his tires), make sure you select a stretch of road that has not had crack sealer applied!
If you choose to ignore that piece of advice, :scholar:definitely do not ignore the advice to not turn around in a gravel driveway!:scholar:
It was a great burnout, :burnout:but took me about 2 hours to undo the damage. I'm still not sure how he managed to get that rock wedged under the traction bar u-bolt.

Try it now Darrell, it worked for me when I added the link but I had it marked private. It's now marked public, hopefully it works.

Let’s see here...black car, cragars, traction bars, burnout...yeah that’s awesome in my book!

There are some companies making a track spray where you spray on your quarters and rubber is supposed to fall right off. I think Griots has it. Not sure about crack sealer but would be a good test. I had an Acura TL once and it had to go to the dealer. I picked it up and drove like it had a flat. I got out and they had parked on top of where the parking lot cracks were fixed and a piece of that the size of my hand was stuck to the tire. It was a mess. Thats when I noticed they leaned over the fender and it had a dent in the top!!!

Last time I went to the track I sprayed fluid film on my quarters and the rubber wiped right off.
