Pavilions 10 27 2018

Holly and I went to Pavilions today for a while. It's been quite a while since we've been there and it will be a while before we'll be back.

I have surgery this coming Wednesday, so that will limit activities for a while. We met up with John Ward, saw Toby Shine's car...but Toby was home watching college football (smart man!), Kevin DeWitte, Mike Greenawalt, Shaun Price, Paul, Joe Spagnoli, Fred Mandrick, Sizzler Wayne, Ward Gappa, Kenny Berger and Larry Christiansen...among others. It was great to see all of them!

It was Olds day at Pavilions, so some killer Olds representation was there today.

Enjoy the pics! First group has 426 c.i.d., 409 c.i.d. and 427 c.i.d....what a group!

Friends always...Holly and John Ward

This is Fred Mandrick's latest...and it's a beauty. Those who will be going to MCACN this year will get to see it up close! See if you can spot what's different about this particular 442....

Oh, it still needs a final cut and buff! :worship:

Xplantdad 10-28-2018 02:24 AM

It was Olds night at Pavilions, so there were some mighty fine Olds at the show today...:worship:

Bill Pritchard 10-28-2018 11:58 PM

Are those Olds aluminum pieces (block & heads) factory or aftermarket? I can't say as I recall Olds ever producing those back in the day, but maybe they're one-off engineering/experimental items :dunno:

Postsedan 10-29-2018 12:17 AM

Fred Built his 1970 Convertible 442 as a "What if" GM would have buillt one.....it's an amazingly built - what if car....even the stereo system, is a one off.

Fred see you at MCACN in 20 days.

Dan

I was able to escape the knife! As I was getting prepped for the surgery-the Mayo doc(s) came in and looked where the biopsy was taken and they couldn't find the cancer any more. They knew that the biopsy was able to capture most of the cancer, and they think that taking the biopsy triggered my immune system to fight it as well...that along with the chemo I am currently on.

Either way, I am happy and pain free. Thanks for the well wishes anyways

Tenney 11-03-2018 04:29 PM
