'65 K-Code Fastback, 3900-mile X-Drag Car Stored Since '67
All the cool old period speed stuff is still there. Wow.... Can you imagine finding this thing buried in a warehouse since '67?

Wow. 😲

Looks like the car was raced right from the dealership floor, judging from the 65 Englishtown sticker. I want the Shades on the dash

Awesome find!

Dave, feel like another Mustang project?
|
Ha! Yeah, Freddie. Something like that is awesome! I do have a lead on a pretty good one, but just don't know about getting it right now with the house build going on. Although it's a worthy project. But I also have a few others (non-Mustang... matter of... non-Domestic!) that I'm considering too. Variety is the spice of cars!

That car is one of the special ones!

Incredibly cool but I fear the restoration crowd wouldn’t feel the same and would put it back to showroom like the fate that befell the “Ratical One”. Please not this one . . .

Those are some pretty rare Magnesium Americans on that car that would bring some serious coin all by themselves, especially those fronts!

This car was found about 3 years ago in NJ and was advertised on Craigslist. Seller was asking 50K. Car was also listed on ebay a few times before it finally sold, somewhere in the 30K range I believe.
