Work Boots

Its about that time for a new pair. Anyone have any recommendations? Im on my feet all day and looking for something thats comfortable and lasts. My only requirement is they have to be steel toe. Price doesnt matter, looking for quality!

PS: i know its not car related, but i figured id try!

https://www.thorogoodusa.com/ We have used and swear by these work shoes. Used by Police, Firemen and Postal Workers. Made in The USA.

I've got a pair by Chippewa steel toe boots. Nice quality. I've had them for years.

My Danners were the most comfortable boot I'd ever worn.

I wear them daily too but switched to work shoes instead of boots 15+ years ago.
Some jobsites I visit require not just the Safety Rating but the Electrical Rating too so I run these composite core Leather Terras as below pic, they're lightweight and comfy also cost little more than $100 a pair.
:beers:

I 3rd the thorogood recommendation. Bought my 1st pair 3 yrs ago. Not cheap but not the most expensive. They take a while to break in but once broken in..........nice.

I'm on my second pair of Timberland Pro "Pitboss" work boots.

I like them for the price.

If I had to wear them every day all day, I'd look into Redwings. I have two pair of their Heritage line that I wear to the office and absolutely love them. The Heritage line is not a safety toe work boot however.

I work in a sterile Clean Room environment that requires standing perfectly still for LONG periods of time so as not to disrupt air currents. This has really taught me the importance of quality footwear and I've had nothing but great success with Merrell shoes & insoles. I was shocked by the difference between them and lesser quality footwear that would leave my feet and legs quite sore at the end of the day.

I too have been wearing merrell or keens for work. Comfortable and there's no break in time. I still get a new pair every year. Farming seems to be hard on any of them

I've been wearing Oliver AT's for the last 5 years. they are steel toed, yet light-weight and almost feel like you are wearing gym shoes.

Most comfortable boot I've ever worn.
