Keep the car all original. Full detail top to bottom and engine cleanup. Buff original paint. Great find.

Gentleman turned down $175 and the asking price is $225 .

Mallard 01-29-2020 10:38 PM

Amazing how 50ish years later these cars come out of the woodwork.

yes sir. And I am told the car needs restored.

Woj 01-30-2020 12:35 PM

You'd really have to see the car and evaluate with your own eyes to place a value on it. If it really needs restored, that number is pretty steep. However, it is a black 4-speed and that is as good as it gets. Phil

Sean 01-30-2020 02:35 PM

Why not just ask 325k and get it over with.

MosportGreen66 01-30-2020 04:24 PM

Is it a survivor or just unrestored?

Regardless it is a wonderful find.

Dan

Nice find but this is the same guy who called everyone here "jealous idiots who don't know anything" when he purchased the "unconverted" Yenko Nova.

Does Mr. Nichols now own the car or is he advising the long-time owner?

If you were to take Mr. Nichols at his word in the video (and he stated it numerous times), the car was recently purchased by someone and it was NOT available for sale.....so much for that :rolleyes2:

Copo_Cartel 01-30-2020 09:30 PM

The guy that bought the car knows the family well and lives close by. I was told there is rust in quarters.....

scuncio 01-30-2020 11:19 PM

I love the car but the asking price would have been ambitious even in 2006. IMO.

Rgreat69 02-04-2020 10:55 PM

Copo cartel someone told you wrong! Since your so concerned come see it yourself and you then can post the truth!

Bill Pritchard 02-04-2020 11:28 PM

Rgreat69,

First of all, welcome to the site! If you are the lucky buyer of the car being discussed here, let me be among the first to congratulate you on an awesome car. And if the 'rust in the quarters' is untrue, all the better. All of us here would love to see more pictures of it and follow along as it gets cleaned up and ready for whatever happens henceforth. I think you will find everyone here helpful and sympathetic to the car's best interests.

Copo_Cartel 02-04-2020 11:30 PM

I am not concerned. Cool your jets ....I was given this info from someone that was there and inspected the car. You must be the new owner 5 houses away that knew the family well....and you are a machinist....now how did I know all that. And it’s funny that the car is forsale so quickly.

well said!

Chevyfever 02-18-2020 03:47 PM

I knew this copo well it was owned by my friend he passed in 2003,he was very meticulous with his cars. The car was left to his brother, should be all original, and should be low mileage.
Always wondered how long it would take to be discovered.
