Be sure to attend to your car during repairs.

Not everybody has figured out the change in balance with the new body style.

Surely Chevrolet published something about lifting points. I remember when the X body went to front wheel drive. We had multiple classes on all the new features.

Has to be some training, even if just video.

The guy who dumped my truck off the lift three years ago is still there.

They mention being fairly compensated by the dealer's insurance. Yeah, good luck with that!! After a month of back and forth games with the claims guy the dealer stepped up and made it right.

They still refer to it as "The incident"

Bill, I wasn't about to post reference to your story but in seeing this thread, I was going to text you and tell you to share. The black High Country is a beauty and well deserved considering what you went through. The guy who dropped your former rig off the lift should have been canned immediately... oh and is lucky to be alive!

We have a new 2020 picked up prior to this virus mess and I’ve picked it up on our two post lift. There are both slotted and round holes when looking underneath behind front wheels and in front of back wheels. Caution is to use slotted holes to lift from and not round hole area. The tech used a rear round hole and upon lifting the lifts arms just tore thru the body.

GM has a document showing the lift points and using the J-43625 lift adapters in the slotted holes. Probably a video in the training catalog also.
