Supposedly only has 18k miles! I’ll bet he inherited the car and immediately slapped the four wheel disc brakes and Foose wheels on it? At least he kept the original parts.
Photos are horrible, and so is the write-up, but could be a real low mileage car. https://pittsburgh.craigslist.org/ct...168040809.html |
Not a bad price if the mileage is legit and it's not loaded up with rust and bondo underneath. Helps that it's triple black.
The vinyl roof has a seam in the middle which is not how GM did them. If true low mileage, it wouldn't make sense for that to be replaced if the rest of the car was not degraded.
The air cleaner looks non original and the brake booster/master cylinder too. It doesn't look like lacquer paint also imho.
The hood, fender, cowl, door all look like they fit good. If no rust or bondo I'd say its a great deal!
The mirror on the driver's door should be round, not square. hmmm
18K doubtful. I think the rear quarter looks odd.
With that uber-powerful drivetrain combo of 327 & column shifted Powerglide, those 4 wheel disc brakes were really needed

Someone added a rear spoiler to it too - boo!

I don’t see a rear spoiler in the photos?

Thought I saw one in the second image. Upon closer inspection, that may be something leaning up against the wall behind it. |
Car may ( or may not) have 18k, but minimally she’s been fluffed, and I suspect far from totally original. But still may be low mile real solid driver. Jmho
I’ve seen a few low option real low mile cars get purchased, then ‘robbed’ of the very hard to find original wear and tear parts, like interior, carpet, hood insulation, clips and wires and bolts, etc., all to be used on a rare car such as a Z or BB car or COPO, etc. And then flipped. :( |
