Shipper recommendation from Pennsylvania to Seattle???
Just bought a '67 L78 Camaro out of Pennsylvania. Looking for a reliable, trustworthy enclosed shipper to bring the car to Washington State for a reasonable fee?
Thanks in advance for recommendations, Paul |
Curious as to where in PA you found it ?
I had a Bolero Red/red 67 L78 /M21 that wound up in the Reading PA area Thanks Fred |

I've had good luck shipping four nice cars from Seattle to Minneapolis with this outfit. They weren't small....

Reliable is a good price and excellent service but often a 3-week pickup and dropoff window. I just used Kevin and Enclosed Vehicle Transport and they were excellent, a bit pricey but could do my preferred schedule down to the day.

Anyway, when i had my 68 camaro shipped to me from Colorado I used Lamb Motorsports.. Nice enclosed rig, everything was checked before delivery and after delivery , i would use them again |
Fred - its a Marina Blue L78 out of Johnstown, PA
Tom - Thanks for the recommendation. I will call them. Is this your collection in Newcastle? I am in Seattle. I don't know if we've ever met? |
Reliable

Yes, the blue one that Joe Barr posted for a friend. MacNeish certification and for the money, seemed like a nice car. I've had a few '67's over the years so this was a bit of an impulse buy.

I called a bunch of guys and seems most broker it out. Kevin at Enclosed seemed the most legit on the phone and he was pricey, but he came down a bit to make it reasonable. Thanks everyone.

Kevin had a 2-car and I want to say a 6-car. I went with the pricier 2-car so no stacking. Nice driver, too (Darwin) who seemed to know his business.

Not my collection, unfortunately. After I appraised a collection, I helped a Seattle family sell some cars to a private collector in Minnesota, and I arranged shipping. The Eldorado is where they were, the Mercury wagon shows where they ended up. I think I may have met you briefly in Issaquah on Front St. at a cruise with your '68 Biscayne? Otherwise I don't think our paths have crossed much. Not by choice! Happy to chat anytime.

[SeattleCarGuy-Fred - its a Marina Blue L78 out of Johnstown, PA
Best wishes with your new car- I saw that one and it looked good, love the color combo! I have a NOS in the box 3910 service replacement if you need a carb -I'll sell it for $500- That's all the 67 Engine component parts I have left, still have door skins/inner fenders/grills etc- all NOS for 67 also have good original GM trunk and dash sections |
Paul must have sent his wife out on a trip. LOL. Nice color. Good luck with the shipping.

LOL!
I bought a '65 Impala recently while the wife was out of town. I liked this Camaro so much, I agreed to buy it, then broke the news to the wife a couple days later. We are still negotiating my punishment! Tom - Hope to meet you again next summer when car shows resume. I'll try to make it to Fenders on Front Street again and some Triple XXX shows. |
Congrats on the purchase of the L78 it looked really nice on Facebook
