Today would have been Move-In Day 1 and our weather today will be a near record of 64 degrees....tomorrow 60 degrees.....go figure.

I was thinking about the show this weekend and what a blast we'd all be having.

I feel sad now....

I've had the same thoughts :(
In a couple hours should have been in line for move-in....

My family would have been packing tonight for a Friday morning departure and a 6+hour drive north. Sigh. We will be watching Saturday night, but will miss being in the middle of everything.

We were looking forward to spending Friday evening at Gibsons meeting up with everyone and celebrating our Son's 21st birthday.

Forget Gibsons....I miss your Mom`s Cookies, YUMMY!

I miss the face to face meeting of far away friends. The first day is quite chaotic :getting cars located, staged into position, lifts functioning, and start judging 2-3 cars. It is very rewarding and everyone is working at a fast pace to keep their area of responsibility moving forward. The only negative point is the exhaust fume from the well tuned ultra hi-performance machines.

I will sorely miss seeing all member, participants, spectators, amazing cars and the feeling of satisfaction when I'm on the flight home and for weeks afterwards.

Thursday to Friday evening is a blur and amazing how Bob Ashton and team holds it together.

Look forward to the Saturday virtual show hosted by the Brothers collection.

Gibsons, my gosh, you're killing me. It always signals the beginning of the Holidays for my wife and me.

True! Will do.

This has been a rough week...

Really cool to see all the great pictures and kind words, emails and calls from so many, but with each post, picture or email, I smile, then feel like crying.

Thanks to all of you who have reached out and also for the continued support of what we do.

I've said it before and will say it again; My Mother would always say "this too shall pass" when faced with diversity. PLEASE let this pass soon!
