Survior 1969 L78 RS/SS convertible
 

This has to be one of the most unmolest L78 convertibles on the planet!
Matching numbers tons of documents to back it up bought from a lady owner so it wasn’t beat on . Original smog exhaust shocks radiator hoses carb stainless heat shield is still in place on the starter. This is a super rare car coming out of my collection I will be listing a few more to be sold .

Looks to be original paint. Good car.

Saw this car at MCACN a couple years ago, I believe it is original paint. What an awesome time capsule, would love to know the story behind how the OO came to acquire the car. On the lot, or was it ordered by her with L78? Burnished brown with white top, only way it could be better is if it had white interior.

That women knew what she wanted.! I can see the salesman.. " do you really want this engine.? It's noisy, very powerful, needs special gas.... "

If she ordered it, she also decided she wanted no power-robbing power steering!

I remember when this car was forsale by the orig owners a few yrs ago ,what a great car and unique color also.

The matching numbers description seems unfair if drivetrain original considering matching could be anything but the Original Engine/Trans/Rear a completely different thing also much more valuable so worthy of distinction.:hmmm:

Gorgeous car. I agree with what others have said. If it has “born with drivetrain”, then I’d be advertising it as that, not just “numbers matching”.

Can you please scan/post judging sheets from MCACN. This will help clear up many questions RE: this car. Danny

My car was on display due to the fact that they were full when I bought it . I was told bring the car If they get all the cars they had done they will judge it . Kurt from Crg spent most of his time crawling all over the car and and so did several other survivor guys. If you’re interested in the car I can send you pictures of anything you like I know it’s hard for you to wrap your head around the the fact it’s never even had never the radiator hoses taking off and how incredible it is but the pictures speak for themselves . Let me know anything you would like better pictures of.
