'68 Shelby carburetor
I have a friend who is going through a lot of parts that his dad amassed over his life, it's 95% Chevy stuff. But he came across a carburetor supposed to be from a '68 Shelby Mustang. I'll get him to take a pic of it, but I wondered if any of you guys would know where to post it for sale?

I was just talking to a guy yesterday about Ford carburetors and he has a Shelby. He may be interested.

Hi John I own a 68 Shelby and I would definitely be interested in the carburetor I sent you a message thanks Matt

I'll get my buddy to take some pics and I'll share them here.

Waiting on pics, supposed to be 725 CFM vac secondary Holley, 1968 GT 350.

If it's a real 68 shelby carb with a good date they're worth anywhere from 1500 to 2500.00
|
Will share pics when I get them from my budd, he's thinning out a bunch of parts his dad had bought over the years.

If somebody has an original 1x4bbl sheetmetal base, I have an original early ‘68 3-hole cast aluminum Cobra air cleaner lid. We can make a matching set;)

Details:
4118-S 975 I could send pics to one of you guys if you could post them, I can't figure out how. |
Appears to be a 5th week of July 1969 produced service carb that Ford also used as a replacement carb for a number of applications. There's at least seven on eBay right now. Looks like a less than $500 piece on the open market. https://www.ebay.com/itm/1968-Ford-M...wAAOSwToBgAlkN

I'll tell my buddy
