2nd pic looks like they're towing a 16' Magnum Marine Missile.

I’m sure Bill S (olredalert) will chime in.

Reggie Fountain also had a Motion Mako Shark

I wonder if the blue 1969 427 Corvette was sent back to Motion to become a Motion Mako , looks like both pictures show blue interior

Lets see if Bill has any interesting car towing boat pictures.

olredalert 03-12-2021 02:45 PM

----No pictures, but I did tow my 16 foot Banshee to Florida from Cape Cod with a 67 350hp Corvette convert in 1970. The car later was stolen and turned up a year later in Alabama. That is a nice Magnum Missile, Lee!.....Bill S

Is the 69 Lemans Blue Bright Blue interior Baldwin Motion vette a known car?

carnut4life 03-12-2021 07:29 PM

I saw a 1969 Baldwin Motion Corvette identical to the one pictured in the swap meet section at the Super Chevy Show in Indy in late 80's or early 90's. They were asking $29,900 for it which just as well have been a million dollars to me back then since I was still in high school but I was head or heals for it. I've got a couple pics of it in one of my photo albums and will look them this weekend.

Here are the pics, I believe the seller was sitting in the chair.

carnut4life 03-12-2021 11:53 PM

My buddy from high school got back to me and said he was with me when I took these pictures so it had to be 1991 because I went with my Dad in 1988. Such good times, wish I could go back for a day just to walk a good swap meet again. I posted the pics in the Motion section to see if anyone remembers the car as well.

Hideous

A very similar Baldwin Motion car was for sale at Bloomington Gold in about 1992. I was in love with the car and later found out it was a Motion car, but not really a Baldwin Motion car. It was also a 400 horse car originally. I swear its the same one in the picture carnut4life posted.

Kevin Suydam has a similar car. All 3 cars in this thread are 1969 blue/blue but have slightly different stripes. Kevin's looks to have larger wheel flares

firstgenaddict 03-14-2021 06:05 PM

That's the car I was thinking about Joe!
