'70 Chevelle #s SS396/4-sp, Well Preserved 32k-mile car, nice docs

Cool car with the rarely seen cloth interior. Not sure if it's the original paint - the seller insinuates it is, but never actually makes the claim.

Appears to have the original vinyl top since the seems match up on the filler panel, after market ones never line up. Built in Atlanta so it probably has a build sheet on the back of one of the door panels too. Wish they wouldn't have added the grill trim or tried fluffing the silver around the gauges and turn signals but those would be easy fixes along with a few other things like the steering wheel and shifter knob.

----Nice Tiger Paw spare!.....Bill S

I really like the color combo and cloth bench on this one.

scuncio 01-30-2022 12:35 PM

Relisted in the link below...$79k.

Even with the crazy prices at B-J at BaT, I am still seeing some fairly priced cars outside of these venues. Whether $79k is fair for a clean L34 car...that's a tough call but I sure like this one.

They’ve had it since September the price isn’t far off the last 2-3 survivor l34’s I’ve seen I wonder what’s up with it

Too Many Projects 01-31-2022 12:50 PM

Rattle can the entire underside flat black and drop the price to $74,900, it will sell quickly...

Mr70 01-31-2022 02:49 PM

I'd say that one's a bargain, compared to this A/C equipped L-34,with minimal description that just sold on the very last Sunday @ B-J. https://www.barrett-jackson.com/Even...-SS-396-252829

----My personal irritation, wrong master cylinder, once again. I seem to see wrong masters on well over half the 70 Chevelles. What's up with that?....Bill S

Mr70 01-31-2022 04:23 PM

I agree Bill.
I'm amazed this Black '70 go $101K on the very last Sunday.Think it would've sold well below that on Saturday night.

I know everyone doesn’t feel this way but every time I see a survivor car with a detailed engine bay there’s a part of me that dies inside.

Question: Is there any way to remove the new paint and preserve the old, original look?

MYSTERYCHEVELLE 02-02-2022 04:12 PM

Dealing with same issue now. Client with a LOW Mile 67 SS all orig drivetrain. Interior. Paint Docs. But engine was rebuilt and all pretty under hood now. :(

Pusher_Man 02-03-2022 01:56 AM

Yeah Mike, exactly what I’m talking about.

Anything you’ve seen anyone do in a case like that to “take it back”?

You’d think they at least put a make an offer option they’re going on 6 months of having the car

People always have the option of hitting the "Contact Seller" button and make an offer, or call...:dunno:
