Was at Barrett Jackson last weekend, I remember walking past it. Says it sold for $37400. Must be trying to flip it.

There is no explaining shit like this to normal people. I saw one very similar in Sarasota yesterday, Unbelievable. I'd like to think they will own it for a long time at 55k, but someone will buy it.

Yooooooooo!! That shit is tight dawg…. Where do I send my Bitcoin?

I drove it over the block. Sold for $34K without the juice.

Actually had fun driving this one, but I always try to make the best out of an unpleasant situation. Loved the reaction from everyone sitting up on the auction podium. What the %#@* is that?

Lynn 02-02-2022 03:44 AM

You had a chance to buy it, and you didn't?

67ssmn 02-02-2022 04:51 AM

if i had to drive it i would have had a few n95 masks on and dark sunglasses

wayoutz 02-02-2022 09:33 AM

Oh it'll flip alright! Just hit the curb the right way.

Bill Pritchard 02-02-2022 01:52 PM

You look totally out of place driving that thing, Rick :haha:

BADSIXPACK 02-02-2022 02:14 PM

Hell, you put a white woman blow-up doll in the passenger seat, and drive it up & down the avenue on Friday nights, you'll turn some heads!

BJCHEV396 02-02-2022 02:55 PM

Fugly!

Drunk guy

I bet some extremely rich dude bought it after his buddies were egging him on after a few too many cocktails. Talk about waking up with the taste of regret and shame.

OK, I admit having no idea what a 'DONK' automobile is :dunno: However some in-depth research has led me to understand 'dat dis Camaro ain't a donk. A donk is only a 1971-76 Caprice or Impala riding on 32s or close to that. Legend has it the term donk came from the resemblance of the Impala logo to a donkey. Other slang definitions are NSFW but work equally as well. Newer models from 1977-91 are called a Box and 1991-96 are Bubbles. If it's not a Donk, Box, or Bubble then its just called a High-Riser.

An unexpected finding was that there are some 10 second Donks out there. Maybe these are Super Car Donks?

Guess it turns out I don't know the proper way to use the term "Donk"

Gotta say; that makes me feel a little bit proud.

Too Many Projects 02-04-2022 12:35 AM

Quite certain the term "donk" has evolved like "original drivetrain" was aborted into anything within the same era. Now we need to use "born with" to describe the original drivetrain and that will be morphed into something once the flippers figure out how to abuse that too.
Your definition of anything with 32", or close, actually fits this aberration, as the wheels were described as 31"...

Pro Stock John 02-04-2022 01:38 AM

There are some 8 second donks now.

Too Many Projects 02-04-2022 12:59 PM

Yeah with enough power adders or electric motors, seems anything can be made to go fast now. If that style of vehicle is what they want to drive, I'm happy for them...:smirk:

Pro Stock John 02-04-2022 04:10 PM

It's not my thing but there are many car scenes and the big tire scene is the latest.

Pusher_Man 02-05-2022 03:25 AM

Whole lot of insecure people out there just dying for someone to notice them. Pretty sad when you think about it.
