What a strangely optioned car with an LS6, M22 and the 3.08 Economy Rear Axle. I’m actually surprised that it was even built because the 2.20 First Gear & 3.08’s aren’t exactly friendly with each other, especially with that wide duration camshaft!

I had a '69 Z from Toronto Courtesy, I have this if the Vette's new owner happens to be a forum member.
Those 3.08s were perfect for using up all those speedo numbers on late night Banzai runs on the 401 I bet :) |
4:56 would absolutely wake that car up. Hone a drive would help also. This is gonna bid for giant money.

I don't have many LS6 pads in my library and none with the same build date. I see many similarities with other LS6 pads with different build dates and certainly with other VIN stamps in the same range.

It's like the stock market......

The car is owned by a good friend of mine. I believe he had the pad verified by Al Grenning. It is a nice car!
|
I take back the restamp comment if Al certified the stamping. It really looks very fresh but maybe from a recent rebuild. I love the car and its a rare one. Its a rocket ship.
|
There’s now a dark cloud over this car for anyone that researches it and finds this thread about the disputed block stamping.
|
I suggest we delete this post if there’s general consensus that the stamp is legit.

Just delete posts 5-7 and 9-11 and 14-16.

or MAYBE people stop jumping the gun on calling things fakes/restamps/ect/ect?
